Indians are storytellers by nature. Through the ages, we have transferred knowledge down the line through stories. In the last few years, podcasts and audiobooks have become a preferred choice of consuming entertainment, news, stories, spiritual content, education and more. The listener base in India has grown from being just about four million in 2016 to an estimated 90 million in 2023. 

Founded by a media couple Mohini and Niranjan Medhekar, Sounds Great NM Audio Solutions is a Pune-based unique startup with special expertise in audio products and services. We, at Sounds Great have been crafting curated audio content – including podcasts, audiobooks, audio novels and audio dramas since 2017. The podcasts we produce for the global audiobook streaming platform Storytel include Sexvar Bol Bindhast (on healthy sex life) and Palakanchi Shala (on parenting). At the same time, we are offering tailor-made audio solutions to our clients. We are successfully running a unique storytelling fiction podcast named Menaka Classics and a dedicated recipe show Menaka Recipes, which are the official podcasts of Pune-based Menaka Prakashan, the publication house with a literary legacy of over six decades. We have also launched A to Z Housing Solutions, the official podcast of Pune-based housing solutions firm Society Plus. V for Vagina, an English podcast by the gynecologist and sex therapist Dr. Neelima Deshpande on women sexuality and vaginal health is a production Sounds Great. Marathi Crime Katha, the first-of-its-kind genuine true-crime podcast in Marathi is also a creation of Sounds Great.
